sqrt(8)

= sqrt(4) * sqrt(2)

= 2 * sqrt(2)

= 2 * 1,4142

2,8284(..)

To calculate the square root of 2 I needed a calculator.

This number is irrational (you can prove that) which means there is no repeating part in the decimals of the square root of 2, and not in the square root of 8 either.
