It's actually 2(pi), you technically need to say 360 degrees. I believe we defined it to be that, but you can prove that it's 360 degrees:

Draw a diameter.

Draw a second diameter perpendicular to the first.

You now have four right angles.

Right angles measure 90 degrees.

90 * 4 = 360

Hence, there are 360 degrees in the circle.

Is there a regular polygon with an interior angle sum 9000?

A polygon with n sides inscribed in a circle has an angle sum of 180xn-360 So the problem is find n so that 180n-360=9000 => n=48 The regular polygon with an angle sum of 9000 has 48 sides

How many degrees are in the sum of an angle and an exterior angle of a regular polygon?

360 ________________________________________________ Sum of Interior Angles of a Polygon = 180 (n-2) Sum of Exterior Angles of a Polygon = 360 The sum of an angle and an exterior angle of a regular polygon is 360

How do inscribed angles help you understand angles that occur outside the circle?

The inscribed angle forms the apex of the angle. It is a point. To circumscribe the point is 360 degrees. So the inscribed angle and the reflex (outscribed) angle sum to a total of 360 degrees.

What is the sum of the exterior angle of a polygon with 14 sides?

If the polygon is regular then it will fit inside a circle therefore the exterior angles will sum to 360 each exterior angle will be 360/14 = 25.71 which makes each interior angle 180-25.71=154.29 which makes the sum of interiors 14 x 154.29 = 2160.06
