To remove the baffles from a 1600 Kawasaki Mean Streak, first, ensure the motorcycle is on a stable surface and the exhaust system is cool. Remove the exhaust pipes by loosening the mounting bolts and any clamps holding them in place. Once the pipes are off, locate the baffles inside and use a socket or wrench to unscrew and pull them out. Reassemble the exhaust system, ensuring everything is securely fastened.

Well, darling, to find the side length of a square with an area of 1600 square units, you take the square root of the area. In this case, the square root of 1600 is 40. So, the side length of the square is 40 units. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
Since Speed = Distance Traveled / Time, Time = Distance Traveled / Speed. This means Time = 1600 miles / 60 miles per hour = 26.67 hours.

You can take a LONG steel pointed rod and punch out the baffles. The You don't have to remap or do anything. It sounds slightly louder..a nice sound and the throttle response increased from a ded stop. the baffles are not able to be removed since they're welded in place but you can drill them out or just punch through them.

If it's set up like my 2003 800 classic, you can't take out the baffles without removing the black end plate and cutting the pipe just inside the opening. It's not legal,so you might want to buy an aftermarket system instead.
