∙ 15y agoGiven the radius, say 2 you square it first. In this example that would be 4. Next you multiply it by Pi. Since Pi goes on forever, you need to approximate it. How good your approximation is depends on what your needs are. Let's use 3.14. So the area of the circle is 4x(3.14)=12.56

∙ 15y agoArea of a square = side squared Area of a circle = pi times radius squared
The formula to find the area of a circle is pi x the radius squared.
area=pi r squared
The formula for area of a circle is radius squared times pi. The formula for volume of a cylinder is radius squared times pi times height.
Area = pi*radius2A = Pi*R-squaredPi * R^2
the formula for the area of a circle is 3.14 x radius squared
Using 3.14 as Pi the area of circle is: 530.66
The area of Circle S can be found by using the area formula for circles. The area of a circle is pi times the radius squared. So, the area of Circle S with a 1 inch radius is Pi inches squared.
Area of a square = side squared Area of a circle = pi times radius squared
