∙ 14y ago57 pounds 40 pence represents 82% of regular price. Convert pounds and pence to total pence, divide by 82 then multiply the result by 100, finally convert this number back to pounds and pence.
That is basic math. It can be done more quickly with a reciprocal, if your calculator has that function. Get the reciprocal for .82 and use that to get the original price.

∙ 14y agoYou can calculated reduced volume by getting the starting volume and subtracting it from the finished volume For example, If I had 890ml of water and I had 155ml left, How much has the volume reduced by. 890 - 155 = 735. So the answer would be that the water has been reduced by a total of 735ml.
0.2*50=10 50+10=60 :)

no it can not be reduced.... :)
It cannot be reduced

Usually you would multiply the two numbers together unless they could be reduced. If they could be reduced you would reduce them and then multiply them by each other.
To calculate the new conductance, simply multiply the initial conductance by the change in area: 100 S * 23 = 2300 S. Since the length of the wire is reduced by the same amount as the area is increased, the overall conductance remains the same.

The TTL will be reduced by one every time it passes a router. Because this changes the IP header, the checksum also has to be recalculated. The TTL will be reduced by one every time it passes a router. To calculate the reduced level in rise and fall method, you need to add the height of instrument (HI) to the back sight (BS) if the instrument was set-up on the point, or subtract the foresight (FS) if the instrument is sighted on a new point. The reduced level (RL) is then given by RL = HI ± (BS - FS).
