It doesn't have an actual "number" in the alpha-numeric system. Instead, much like pi or square roots it is represented by a symbol which resembles an elongated figure 8 which is laid on its side.
How it actually appears differs greatly based on the font used by the machine creating the text.
Some common appearances can be seen in the link titled Infinity Symbols which has been added underneath this answer.

Infinity is not a defined number. It describes, in math, the endlessness of numbers.
Infinity is a term used to denote something with no end. Numbers are infinite as no matter what number you can think of you can always up that number by 1. Thus numbers span into infinity. Infinity itself is not a number.
Whole numbers are zero and all positive whole number integers. This is written as {0, 1, 2, 3, ...... to infinity}.

An infinity. There is an infinity of numbers between any two numbers. I you want whole numbers, there are 31.
1 or infinity itself
There is more than one notation, but the open interval between a and b is often written (a,b) and the closed interval is written [a,b] where a and b are real numbers. Intervals may be half open or half closed as well such as [a,b) or (a,b]. For all real numbers, it is (-infinity,+infinity), bit use the infinity symbol instead (an 8 on its side).
No there isn't. Some people say that infinity is the last number but what about infinity and one and infinity and two? So basically there is no end to numbers. To infinity and beyond!

3.625 is RATIONAL, because you have not indicated if it continues to infinity. To continue to infinity then the number is written as 3.625... (Note the dots). However, 3.625... is also rational , because it can be converted to a quotient(fraction). NB IRRATIONAL numbers have their decimal going to infinity AND the decimal digits are not in any regular order. pi = 3.141592.... Is the most well known irrational number. Other irrationsal numbers are the square roots of prime numbers.
