You need to have 3 quadriladerals and a triangle. The triangle goes up against the half pencil shape for the top. The rectangle starts the bottom and the square goes under it. Thats your T.

There are technically many shapes that could be put into the form of a triangle, but only triangles can make real triangles (without getting into more complicated shapes).
I suppose you could use Popsicle sticks. Glue them together to make a square, rectangle, triangle etc. You can pretty much make any geometric shape that doesn't have curves.
