Well, depending on what you mean by "how much time", it could be many things. It takes 2 hours and 48 minutes to fly 1400 miles by plane, about 24 hours to drive 1400 miles nonstop at 60 mph, and about 20 days to walk 1400 miles nonstop.

It depends on what aircraft you are in. In something like a Tiger Moth, the cruising speed is around 65 mph which would mean a flying time of around 65 hours. But, unless fitted with extra tanks, the range was only around 300 miles so there would have to be 14 refuelling stops - greatly increasing the flight time. On the other hand, even though more than 30 years old, military aircraft like the SR1 Blackbird can fly that distance in about 2 hours!
