In general, a US nickel has to be minted in 1945 or earlier to have any extra value but there are a lot of exceptions. The most important dates to know are:1950-D nickels are moderately scarce and worth several dollars in average condition."War nickels" 1942-1945 with a large mint mark over Monticello are worth at least $1 because they contain a small amount of silver.Common-date buffalo nickels are worth at least $1 but that can go up for coins in better condition.Older-date buffalo nickels can be worth a couple of dollars or moreCommon-date Liberty nickels are worth at least $3; older ones can be (but not necessarily are) worth more. All shield nickels are worth significant premiums.

You need to add the year. An S mintmark tells us nothing.
Thomas Jefferson is on the nickel, not George Bush. A 2005 nickel is still only worth 5 cents. If it in fact does have George Bush on it, then it's some kind of novelty done by someone other than the US Mint, and is worth as much as someone is willing to pay.
Please check again and post a new question. All US half cents had a picture of Miss Liberty on the front. The first circulating US coin to have a picture of a buffalo on it was the famous buffalo nickel, issued from 1913 to 1938.
The only years US nickels were struck in silver was 1942-1945. 1914 is a Buffalo nickel. Coins in average circulated condition are valued at $15.00-$30.00 depending on grade.
