30 days
20 Days sounds like the obvious answer 16 days is the correct answer. The snail can go 5 feet each day... and slides back 4 each night. He will get to the 19th foot on the 15th DAY but will slide back to the 15 foot mark on the 15th NIGHT. He will climb 5 feet on the 16th day, reaching the 20 foot mark.
Snails are nocturnal, so it is probably climbing 3 feet a night and resting in the day,
No distance, the snail was asleep.
type your answer here or you turn into snail and you can see why
A snail in England won a snail race being clocked at .0033 mph...so I'd have to say maybe .0025 would be about the norm for a non-racing snail?

At the bottom of a snail is a muscular foot that helps it move and navigate its environment.
It depends how you think it. Perry the Platypus is a good fighter, but if Gary the Snail climbs on his back and won't get off......
He would touch the bottom in nine days. It's like he really only moves up a foot a day, but on the ninth day he will move from the eighth foot to the tenth, but if he has to go back again, then it would take him ten days.

Yes, you can. Carry the shell of the snail (of course with the snail inside) and with your other hand, use your index finder and touch the bottom of the snail, to make sure the snail does'nt fall out
No, that is very unlikely.
the bottom layer
Well, if you take well care of it...yes. You have to put in lots of plants for him to eat. They also eat fruits and vegetables -it might sound silly, but it's true-, like lettuce and tomattos, bannanas and carrots. Just chop it into a slice, no bigger, no smaller, and put it in there. You need to put lots of dirt and and grass in there, or else there will be a bigger chance of the snail dying. Put a short cup inside and fill it up with enough water so when the snail climbs on it he can reach it and not so much that he can drown if he falls in. Hope I helped!
Hi, m8 No it is not essential but it is quite important if your house is not warm. If you do not buy a heater and you have a central heated house you will find that the temperature will drop at night and the snail will become less active and then hibernate if your snail dose do this in the spring you will need to pick up your snail and scrape the hard cap of the bottom of the snail and then you will have to wet him with some warm water then he will come out. (when scraping the cap of the bottom of the snail be sure to use your fumand do that genitally).
