An acre is a measure of area (of size 4840 sq ft) and it does not have a definite distance from one side to another - that depends upon the shape of the area and the size of the different lengths, for example, your 300 000 acres could be:
and those are just some of the possibilities.

If the land area of 5 acres is a square (each side equal length) then the perimeter would be 1,866.76 feet.
70 acres = 3049200 sq feet. So, if one side of a rectangular area of 70 acres is 1320, the other side is 2310 feet.
58 acres = 2526480 square feet. So if the area is rectangular, and one side is 600 feet, the other is 2526480/600 = 4210.8 ft or 4210 ft 9.6 inches.
1 acre = 4840 sq yd 160 acres = 160 x 4840 = 774400 sq yd. For a square shaped piece of land then the area = D2 where D is the length of each side. D2 = 774400 : D = √774400 = 880 yd = 1/2 mile
The conversion from acres to miles is not straightforward as they are units for different measurements. The number of miles equivalent to 300,000 acres depends on the shape and dimensions of the land.

About 808.33 feet per side for a square-shaped lot.
A square parcel of land with an area of 40 acres will measure 1,320 feet (1/4 mile) on each side.
If the land area of 170 acres is a square (each side equal length) then the perimeter would be 10,885 feet.
If the land area of 5 acres is a square (each side equal length) then the perimeter would be 1,866.76 feet.
If the land area of 5.5 acres is a square (each side equal length) then the perimeter would be 1,957.88 feet.
1 square mile = 640 acres 510 acres = (510 / 640) = 0.797 square mile (rounded) If the 510 acres of land are in a square plot, the plot would be 0.893 miles, or about 4,713 ft on a side.
A square plot of land with 144ft per side has an area of about 1/2 (0.48) acre,
To measure 5 acres square, you would need to determine the length of each side of the square in order to create a square with an area of 5 acres. One acre measures 208.71 feet by 208.71 feet, so for 5 acres square, you would need to make a square with each side measuring approximately 463.79 feet.
