No it is not real listen to what happened to me when i was doing something in THE EVENT and you will see why it is not real. i am 11 years old and i tried out in toronto and when i made the first cut i was so happy then when my mom searched THE EVENT up on the internet nothing showed up so with thought it was a computer glitch or something like that. So we went to the second cut and my sister made the first cut 2 by the way and they said that they had picked me for the third cut in Orlando Florida and they started asking for 8000 dollars and my mom said no because it was too much but i was so mad i started saying mean things to her like "when it is real and i am not there i will never talk to you ever again" and i marched up into my room crying for like an hour straight. It was so sad when she told me no but when she went up to my room and told me to look up on the internet "different scams that make people sad" the first one that popped up was THE EVENT i forgave her and everything was OK but we still wanted to look up one more thing. ORLANDO Florida to see if they have any up coming events with the company THE EVENT and there was not any so we new it was a scam. If there are any kids reading this right now do not yell at your mom and dad about something you are not sure about. Just don't because you will not have a good feeling afterwards. But if it makes you feel an better tell your parents to right an e-mail to them. not saying anything about the scam they did just tell them to say how bad you felt and how much lots of other people will probably feel really sad sorry if i spelt probably wrong anyway you should always research something before you ever go to it that is what i learned after trying out for THE EVENT 5 times this year you never know when someone is going to come around with a scam that sounds real.
