It really depends on where you live. If you live in a metropolitan area (NYC, DC etc.), probably not.
If you live in a rural area, and are supporting only yourself, yes, it probably is enough.
Another big consideration is whether or not you also get benefits. Health insurance for one person probably runs at least $3,500/year, maybe much more.
