Yes. The entire set of natural numbers is closed under addition (but not subtraction). So are the even numbers (but not the odd numbers), the multiples of 3, of 4, etc.

Yes.

Are natural numbers a subset of rational numbers?

Yes, they are.

Which subset of the real numbers does not contain the natural numbers?

The subset consisting of the one number, 7.5 : {7.5}

What is a subset in maths?

A set "A" is said to be a subset of of set "B", if every element in set "A" is also an element of set "B". If "A" is a subset of "B" and the sets are not equal, "A" is said to be a proper subset of "B". For example: the set of natural numbers is a subset of itself. The set of square numbers is a subset (and also a proper subset) of the set of natural numbers.

What is a set of natural numbers that differs by 1?

It is the subset of natural numbers which excludes 1.

Are all rational numbers in the set of whole numbers?

No. But all whole numbers are in the set of rational numbers. Natural numbers (ℕ) are a subset of Integers (ℤ), which are a subset of Rational numbers (ℚ), which are a subset of Real numbers (ℝ),which is a subset of the Complex numbers (ℂ).

which set show a subset of the set of natural numbers?

Natural numbers are just whole positive numbers. Since whole positive numbers can represent a distance along a line, they are a subset of real numbers.

What are the hierarchy of real numbers?

Starting at the top, we have the real numbers. The rational numbers is a subset of the reals. So are the irrational numbers. Now some rationals are integers so that is a subset of the rationals. Then a subset of the integers is the whole numbers. The natural numbers is a subset of those.
