However, it does not look like the expression is a vertical translation.

There is no such thing as exactly vertical because either it is vertical or it is not. You cannot have approximately vertical - it is not vertical, then. Vertical means at 90 degrees to the horizon (or horizontal).
by moving vertical
The translation is vertical if the added term is outside the main function and horizontal if it is inside it, next to the x. For example, y = x^2 represents a parabola, with its lowest point at (0,0). If we have the equation y = x^2 + 2 then we have translated the parabola up two units -- its lowest point is now x = 0, y = 2. But if we write y = (x + 2)^2, then we are translating two units to the left, and the lowest point is x = -2, y = 0.

No. Glide reflection is a combination of an ordinary reflection and a slide along the line of reflection. A two reflections across two vertical lines is a translation without any reflection or rotation.

A vertical mill is the same as an vertical integration mill. It is built vertical, not horizontal.

"Vertical" can function as an adjective.
Since you have not specified whether the horizontal displacement is to the left or rght, and whether the vertical displacement is up or down, it could be any one of (-120, -75), (-120, 75), (120, -75), (120,75).
There is no root word for vertical. Ver or vert is not true for vertical.
