maths is a universal language used for almost everything you do,for example, maths is used to see the time,to shop,to calculate how much money one earns, how much one spends, the distance between two places, measure the amount of ingredients used to make a dish,i.e. in cooking, measuring your height, weight, body temperature, to measure the amount of land you are buying/selling, etc, controlling the volume of the television, etc.

there are a countless number of things we do using maths.there are a few more things like in sports, to measure the length of a running track, the depth of a swimming pool, the timing of athletes school,to calculate average marks,to distribute the no. of students equally in each class,student-teacher ratio, the calculation of how many children are having school lunch, and many more things. maths is a marvellous discovery made by variuos Indian philosophers such as aryabhatta, and many more.the concept of the zero or 'shoonya' is a very important and great discovery made again by Indians. math, even though greatly detested by many of nowdays children is a great thing,as it is helpful in many many ways.
