we can show addition of whole numbers on a number line.

to add a negative integer

move to the left.

(in negative direction)

we can use patternes to add integers.

to add a positive integer

move to the right.

(the positive direction)

if you want to show the middle piont(zero)

dont show a negative sign(-)

nor a positive sign(+).

it will just be a zero 0.
