The term units usually refers to a measurement of size, area or volume. These can be expressed in any way you choose. For example, units of measurement can be centimeters, inches, square feet, square meters, cubic yards, etc. Surface area would be expressed in some squared unit like square inches, etc. Characteristics such as length, or area are measured in units. In the case of a sphere, knowing either the diameter or radius is all that's required to determine the surface area.
you do stuff
Entire surface area = (2piradius2)+(pidiameterheight) in square units
Surface area including the underneath of the hemisphere = pi*radius2 + 2*pi*radius2 Total surface area = 27pi square units
Surface area = 2*pi*r*(r + h) = 1634 square units.
Surface area of a sphere = 4*pi*radius2 Surface area = 4*pi*42 => 201.0619298 Surface area of the sphere = 201 square units correct to three significant figures.
you do stuff
Surface area = length*width in square units
Entire surface area = (2piradius2)+(pidiameterheight) in square units
If you are trying to find the number of square units on the surface of something, you find the area of that surface (the width times the height). The answer is written as units2
Surface area of a sphere = 4*pi*radius2 square units
Surface area is measured in square units, such as square meters (m²), square centimeters (cm²), or square inches (in²), depending on the system of measurement used.
Surface area including the underneath of the hemisphere = pi*radius2 + 2*pi*radius2 Total surface area = 27pi square units
Surface area = 2*pi*r*(r + h) = 1634 square units.
The radius of the sphere is ~16.395 units.
Surface area of a sphere = 4*pi*radius2 Surface area = 4*pi*42 => 201.0619298 Surface area of the sphere = 201 square units correct to three significant figures.
pi r squared.
Surface area of a sphere in square units = 4*pi*radius^2
