A rectangle does not have volume because it is 2 dimensional but it does have area which is length times width measured in square units.
length x width x height= volume measured in in.^3 , m^3 , etc.
Perimeter is a length, not an area or volume...
A solid is a 3 dimensional object having length, width and height. Its volume measured in cubic units is length*width*height
Volume measures three dimensions: length, width, and height.
Measured by mass: apples, books, and bricks. Measured by volume: water, oil, and milk. Measured by length: pencils, ropes, and hair.
Objects such as liquids, gases, and irregularly shaped solids are typically measured in volume. Volume is the amount of space occupied by an object and is commonly measured in units like liters or cubic centimeters.
A rectangle does not have volume because it is 2 dimensional but it does have area which is length times width measured in square units.
SI units of length, volume, and mass are related as follows: Length is measured in meters (m). Volume is measured in cubic meters (m^3) or liters (L). Mass is measured in kilograms (kg). These three quantities are fundamental measures in the SI system of units and are used to describe the physical properties of objects.
Volume can be measured in various ways depending on the object being measured. For regular-shaped objects, volume can be calculated using mathematical formulas based on dimensions such as length, width, and height. For irregular-shaped objects, volume can be measured by displacement, where the object is submerged in a liquid and the volume of liquid displaced is measured. Specialized equipment like graduated cylinders, beakers, or volumetric flasks can also be used to directly measure liquid volumes.

length x width x height= volume measured in in.^3 , m^3 , etc.
-- Length is measured by rulers; they are often wood. -- Volume is measured by measuring cups; they are usually glass. -- Mass is most often measured by a laboratory balance; they are metal.
Weight,distance,& volume
Perimeter is a length, not an area or volume...
it is measured by using length times width times height
mass and volume are two of them
