First you need to know the area that you want to paint, and then you need
to know how much area each gallon of paint will cover.
Figuring the area:
-- Measure the Length, Width, and Height of your bedroom.
-- The area of two of the walls is (Length x Height) each.
-- The area of the other two walls is (Width x Height) each.
-- If you also want to paint the ceiling, include the area of the ceiling: (Length x Width).
-- Add up the areas of all the things you want to paint. Call it ' A '.
Figuring the number of gallons of paint:
-- Go to the place where you can shop for paint.
Find the color and type of paint you want to use.
-- Look on the can, or ask, and find out the area that 1 gallon covers. Call it ' G '.
-- Divide ' A ' by ' G '. The answer is the number of gallons you need for the job.
This number includes all of the area inside the whole room, as if the room had
no doors or windows ... places you're not going to paint. So it winds up giving
you a little bit of extra paint, which you probably want anyway, in case you spill
some or glop it on too thick in a few places.
If you want to figure out how many gallons you will need and you know how many miles per gallon you achieve then 60 / (your miles per gallon) = how many gallons you need. If you want to know how much you used in 60 miles, one method would be to fill up the tank completely before the trip and then again after the trip and how much you put in the second time will tell you how much you used.
You know that there are 48 gallons per 14 days (assuming that there is a reasonably constant flow-- not all 48 gallons were measured in only one of the 14 days). The idea is to figure out, on average, the number of gallons per day. Once you do that, the unit rate would be x gallons per day. In this case the 'unit' is a day. You could also, if it is helpful, figure out days per gallon, in which case one gallon is the 'unit'.
there are 4 gallons in 72 cups. i am in fifth grade and i know this is the real answer.
"Liter" is a unit of volume, "meter" is a unit of length, and so are their micro's. If it were possible to convert length to volume, then you (or perhaps someone you know) would be able to figure out how many gallons long your front yard is.
To convert pints to gallons, you need to know that there are 8 pints in a gallon. Therefore, to convert 20 pints to gallons, you would divide 20 by 8, which equals 2.5 gallons. So, 20 pints is equivalent to 2.5 gallons.
Why do you need to know, figure it out yourself
You can't, unless you know what the material is. 1000 gallons of gasoline will weigh less than 1000 gallons of water, which will weigh less than 1000 gallons of mercury. Unless you know the density of the stuff, you can't figure out how much a given volume of it will weigh.
well being a two story home not knowing exact size i would tell you bout 20-25 gallons without ceilings go to affordablepainters.biz to get a quote Figure basically 300 Sq Ft per gallon. This will change depending on how porous the siding is and how many coats you are applying. Paint companies recommend two coats for a first rate job. You may be over or under depending but this is a good rule of thumb. Same for the trim.
One gallon of average paint covers about 280 -300 square feet. -Simply add up how many walls you wish to paint, convert to square feet, then divide that by 300. You then know how many gallons you need. Paint prices vary widely so you will have to consider what kind of paint you want.

There are about 12.113 liters in 3.2 US gallons. To convert liters to gallons you need to know that there are about 3.785 liters in one US gallon. Therefore, use this conversion to convert gallons to liters:gallons x 3.785 = liters3.2 US gallons is 12.11 liters and 3.2 UK gallons is 14.55 liters.
If you know gallons, multiply gallons by 0.133681 to get cubic feet.If you know cubic feet, multiply cubic feet by 7.48052 to get gallons.
i don't know but i have it in my bedroom too how about checking in that book called I don't know its like a manual

The only figure you can get would be the amount of liguids, including resins and additives in addition to water. Check out the technical data sheet to determine the amount of solids in the paint. Everything else is liquid.
