In Math notation, the exclamation point means "factorial" ... that number multiplied by

every smaller whole number, all the way down to 1 .

For example:

6 ! means "six factorial". To evaluate it, calculate (6 x 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1) and get 720 .

Useless but Interesting Factoid:

69 is the largest number whose factorial is less than 1 googol.
