A journeyman electrician consists of extended knowledge of electric-(electromotive force) the energy supplied by a source of electric power in driving a unit charge around a circuit. you would know what a volt is high, medium, low, ampere, ohm (resistance), AC, DC, is, you would also have an extended knowledge of math & math mathematical, formulas, functions, in addition you would know how to design, construct, any electrical system using the proper size conductors and rated devices and know the (NEC) National Electric Code (publications are circulated every 3 years) in and out, you would need to attend an accreditied school about 4 years and or do an internship-apprenticeship program, a good way to start would be to apply at your local I.B.E.W. International Brotherhood of Electrical workers union, to sum it up there would be nothing to do with electricity that you could not do industrial, commercial, residential. Scott K.
