For example, if on a quiz you got 7 out of 10 answers correct ( 7 of 10 or 7/10) Expand the fraction to make the denominator 100. (multiply the denominator by 10) Then multiply the numerator by 10. The ratio stays the same but is now 70/100. You scored 70%
