If the two numbers are the same value, then that is the median.
The median is when you put all of the numbers in the question in least to greatest, then find the one in the middle. If you are left with two numbers, add both together and divide that by two.Glad to help!If you list your numbers in order, the median is the number in the middle of the list. If there is an even amount of numbers, the median is the value of the number that is half way between the two middle numbers. So if the two middle numbers were 16 and 21, the value half way between them would be 18.5 and that is your median.
Add the two numbers together. Divide the sum by 2. That is the median.
If you need to find a median between two numbers, pick one of them arbitrarily.
When there are 2 numbers left in the middle and you are looking for the median you add both of the numbers and divide it by 2 and then you will get your answer! Peabody Elementary School BY: MZ.LOOBABY ( Taylor Michelle Lee) BY: MZ.LAZARIAN( Kiya Nicole Perry Stewart)
When determining median numbers you must first arrange the numbers from least to greatest. 0.74, 0.89, 0.96, 0.96, 1.00, 1.04, 1.05, 1.12. Now we remove the lowest value and the highest value and keep repeating this until we are left with one or two numbers. If we followed that step we're left with 0.96 and 1.00. Now in order to find the median we need to find the mean (average) of those two numbers. 0.96 + 1.00 = 1.96 ÷ 2 = 0.98. So the Median = [0.74, 0.89, 0.96, 0.96, 1.00, 1.04, 1.05, 1.12]

Place the numbers in order from least to greatest and cross each one off from each side. The number that is left is the median. If two numbers are left find the middle of those numbers 1,2,3,4,5 3 is the median 1,2,3,4,5,6 3.5 is the median

if there are to numbers left add the numbers together and divide by 2
If this is even set of number median is found by taking the average of two middle numbers.
you add them together then divide by 2
List the numbers from least to greatest. Then cancel the numbers out from the left to right.Example0,1,2,3,4,5,6answer=3
Put the numbers in order.Delete the largest and smallest.Repeat deletions until you are left with only 1 or 2 values. If there is 1 left, then that is the median. If there are 2 left, then their arithmetic mean (average) is the median.
By definition yes. The median is the number which is exactly in the middle of a set of numbers. The first quartile is the point where 25% of the numbers are to the left, and 75% of the numbers are to the right.
Generally, when the median is greater than the mean it is because the distribution is skewed to the left. This results in outliers or values further below the median than above the median which results in a lower mean value than median value. When a distribution is skewed left, it is generally not very symmetrical or normally distributed.
