But seriously, what you probably REALLY mean is how do you find the median of a list of numbers with an even number of numbers.

When you have an even number of numbers, you take the average of the two middle numbers.

So for example:

1, 6, 8, 10, 15, 20

The two middle numbers are 8 and 10. The average of 8 and 10 is 9, so the median of the above example is 9.
