You can`t be sure of the individual sides. A one inch by sixteen inch rectangle, an eight by two inch rectangle, a four inch by four inch rectangle all have the same area (16 square inches) but the first rectangle`s sides add up to 34, the second rectangle`s sides add up to 20, the third rectangle`s sides add up to 16
A rectangle is never a rhombus. A rhombus does not have right angles, but a rectangle does. Definition: rectangle - a parallelogram having four right angles. rhombus - an equilateral parallelogram Websites: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/rectangle?s=t http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/rhombus?s=t
The area of a square (the word "rectangle" is redundant), with sides of length s units, is s^2 square units.
Let the length of a side of the square be S.Then the length of the rectangle = S + 9, and the width = S - 6As the areas are equal then, S2 = (S + 9)(S - 6) = S2 +3S - 54Thus, 3S = 54 : S = 18The length of a side of the square is 18 cm.Check : 182 = 324 : (18 + 9)(18 - 6) = 27 x 12 = 324
The perimeter of a rectangle gives only a maximum for the area, there is no minimum because the rectangle can be an infinitesimally thin but long rectangle with an area as small as you like. The maximum area is attained when the rectangle is, in fact, a square. So perimeter 12 => max area = 3*3 = 9 square units. and perimeter 18 => max area = 4.5*4.5 = 20.25 sq units. So the two can have the same area for any value in the range (0, 9]. You say 2? Smaller rectangle = 0.3542 * 5.6458 and the larger = 0.2300 * 8.7720 If you want an area of S square units then smaller rectangle = 0.5*[6-sqrt(36-2*S)] by 0.5*[6+sqrt(36-2*S)] and larger rectangle = 0.5*[9-sqrt(81-2*S)] by 0.5*[9+sqrt(81-2*S)]
Both are 3D shapes which are pentahedra, comprising triangles and rectangle(s).

I don't know that brand and I have never used a 3d laptop but there should be a switch or an option to toggle the 3d playback of the screen if it were going to make the screen blurry without the special glasses.
