No, this is not a fatburner, amino acids are important in muscle building.
Well i weight about 182 pounds, do atleast 30 mins of good cardio every day of the week, even the weekend, and take in about 2300 calories a day as i started body bulding at the begining of the year, and i am loosing fat and gaining muscle currently. I don't know how much you weight but 1000 calories isn't much at all for a whole day and with 30 mins of cardio 4-5 times a week you should definitely be loosing fat. This is assuming all of your calories are coming from healthy foods.
