In a statistical analysis of data, the outliers are the responses to the question that are the noticeable exceptions, the ones that do not fit with the majority of the answers you received in a survey. They are further away from the mean than might reasonably be expected (either way too high or way too low). If outliers are included in the final analysis of the data, they could easily skew the results.
An outlier.

No. The data set will remain the data set: they are the observations that are recorded.
There cannot be an outlier in a dataset that comprises only one number!
The mean is changed.
there is no outlier because there isn't a data set to go along with it. so theres no outlier
An outlier.
If a data set has an outlier, you would normally deal with it by omitting it from the average of the other values.
Yes there can be more then one outlier
