∙ 15y agoRed Algae is a bacteria... not an algae. It shows up on pool surfaces as loose, rust colored specks or clinging, bright red almost like a bright pink patches. Use a double dose of shock treatment.

∙ 15y agoGreen algae: These are a diverse group of algae found in both freshwater and marine environments. They are characterized by their green coloration due to the presence of chlorophyll. Brown algae: Also known as kelp or seaweed, brown algae are predominantly marine and range in size from small filamentous forms to large, complex structures. Red algae: Red algae are typically marine algae that can be found in tropical to polar regions. They are known for their red pigmentation, which is mainly caused by the presence of accessory pigments called phycobilins. Diatoms: These are unicellular, microscopic algae that are found in both freshwater and marine environments. Diatoms are known for their unique silica cell walls, which have intricate and often beautiful patterns. Dinoflagellates: Dinoflagellates are a type of unicellular algae that are mostly marine. They have two flagella, which allow them to move in a spinning motion. Euglenoids: Euglenoids are single-celled organisms that can be either plant-like or animal-like. They have a whip-like tail called a flagellum that allows them to move and can be found in freshwater environments. Blue-green algae (cyanobacteria): Although not true algae, cyanobacteria are often referred to as blue-green algae. They are photosynthetic bacteria that can be found in a wide range of environments, including freshwater, marine, and terrestrial habitats.

2/3rd is the answer This is a case of probability, the probability of getting only blue marble is 2/9 and only clear marble is 4/9, since we are looking for either of blue or clear, we will add the probabilities and upon adding these two it is 6/9 which translates into 2/3rd.
On the right page on the first shelf of the cabinet, there is a red box with a traffic light, a number 2 pool ball, a picture of a tombstone, a four, and a key. "Go to the grave for the key"
Red or pink algae in a swimming pool is actually a bacteria. The most common cause is contamination from swimming suits when going from the ocean to the pool. Chlorine is the most effective treatment. Algae products will not work because it is not a true algae.
No. That would be a bad choice.
Hmm, are you in Florida? Sounds like "pink algae".
Algae: Green algae, even red algae but phycoerythrin over populates it which gives the red algae its red color.
Yes, red algae and red marine algae refer to the same group of algae that are predominantly found in marine environments. They are known for their red pigmentation due to the presence of phycoerythrin pigments.
red algae.............
no
Red algae contain red pigments called phycoerythrins, which are responsible for their characteristic red color. These pigments help the algae absorb certain wavelengths of light that penetrate deeper in the water column, allowing red algae to thrive in lower light conditions compared to green algae.
the algae does affect it. the algae is a little monster that comes out and eats people.
It sounds like you may have to shock it again and this r[time hit it with a floculant as wel your pool shop wit be able to advise you on the brands that are available locally and follow the directions on the pack.
