Oddly enough, the answer is 6%. 6/100 (or 0.06/1) = 0.06 (same as saying 6%). Remember, when you take away the percent sign, move the decimal point left 2 places. Think money and "cents". 6 cents is 0.06. Make "sense"?

The person answering with 100/6 =16.6666666666 had it almost right, but if you imagine reversing the order of numbers in say... how many miles can you get out of one gallon of gas, you might be stranded somewhere (redoing calculations while your waiting on help) or worse, caculating you retirement saivings might leave you homeless. Hopefully they don't do make this error with space travel calcs.
