What is the answer to 7x plus 3 equals 15x plus 9?

7x-15x = 9-3

We want X's on one side and numbers on opposite side of Equal.

When we move from one side to another, we also replace + with - and vice versa.

7x-15x=9-3

Multiply both sides with -1 and you get:

4x=-3

If you need to find X alone, then divide by 4 on both sides.
