Area for any triangle is 1/2 base x height.
If you don't know the height (must be perpendicular to the base) then there are trig formulas depending on what is known.
Heron's formula is based on knowing the 3 sides (works for any triangle).
Step 1 find the semiperimeter, s. s = (a+b+c)/2
Step 2 find the area. A = sq root [s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)]
If you only know 2 sides and an angle there are other formulas as well.
Area = 0.5*base*altitude
Not at all.
obtuse triangle
A triangle with 1 obtuse angle is called an obtuse triangle.
-- No right triangle, acute triangle, or equilateral triangle has an obtuse angle in it. -- If a triangle has an obtuse angle in it, then it's called an obtuse triangle. -- No triangle can have more than one obtuse angle in it .

yes. take an obtuse triangle that has a base of 8cm and a height of 3cm. then, take a right triangle that has a base of 3 cm and a height of 4 cm. do the math. the obtuse triangle will have a greater area. hope this helps.

An obtuse triangle has an obtuse angle.
Area of any triangle is: 0.5*base*height
An oxymoron. An equilateral triangle cannot be obtuse; an obtuse triangle cannot be equilateral.

No reason why it should, area varies as base and height.
