Well, since the surface area of a cube is just the area of one face times 6, just reverse the equation. 600=6x, where x is the area of one face. Divide both sides by 6, and you get x=100cm squared. From there, you can even find the side length too, which would be 10 (the square root of 100) Anyway, hope I helped.

What is the side of a cube whose surface area is 600 cm?

Assume the surface area is 600 cm2 and NOT 600 cm as stated. Suppose the side of the cube is x cm. Then the surface area is 6x2 cm So 6x2 = 600 => x2 = 100 => x = 10 cm.
