It may not be possible to raise the grade, but you can easily raise your skill level to an A level. The single biggest thing to do is work problems. Get a couple of algebra books and work as many problems as you can. It helps if you have someone that can check your work. If you teacher assigns only a few problems, do them all. The best way to improve is to get comfortable.
Another answerI agree with the previous answer. I would add: work hard and work smart. Do lots of problems, but once you are sure you can really do one topic, move onto the next topic. You don't need to do 500 problems on one topic - if you can do some of the harder ones on that topic, move on to the next topic. As the previous answer says, it really helps if you can get someone to look at your work - maybe a friend who is already getting As.
And, go back as far as you have to. Mathematics is about the most unforgiving subject for requiring previous knowledge. Be smart about this too: there is probably stuff that you didn't understand from last term or last year, that is holding you up now. Whatever it is (graphs, fractions, negative numbers,...) don't be embarrassed: tackle it now (look at those last year's problems again), get help if you need it, and get on top of it.
Another answerMath is something that will take time, and you may not be able to raise your grade up to an A, however, if you practice hard and study very hard for all your tests and quizes you may be able to raise it to a B. It is very unlikely that you will be able to raise it all the way to an A because of the amount of time that you have. You must also have a will to work and suceed. You need to focus and make sure that you are always completing all of your homework and really trying to understand what you learn.

Personally, I have never had that much trouble with math, but I understand it may be harder for others. I recommend buying more than one textbook or handbook in your math area so that you can get two perspectives on it; some used textbooks sell for even $2. I found that previous process to be very helpful in my math class or competitions. I agree with the above answers, math is all about hard work. If your current math topic is problem-heavy, concentrate on working out problems to get to the solutions, and make sure to check your answers afterward, not before. However, if your math topic is proof-heavy, I recommend searching for proof problems and reading a couple of basic articles on methods to prove a certain theorem. The key is still in studying and work, but these will surely help you along the way.

Algebra. I took it in that order, and to do most of the geometry, you HAVE to know algebra. If I had taken geometry first, I would have failed. ALGEBRA FIRST.

Algebra
Algebra is used repeatedly in scientific fields such as astronomy, computer science, and so on. After all, algebra and science go hand in hand. If one was to research further into this, algebra is also used for basic math. For people who like to shop and find the best deals, algebra is used big time in shopping.

9th-Algebra I, 10th-Geometry, 11th-Algebra II, 12th-There are a bunch of classes that one can take at my school College Algebra is one Pre-Calculus is another. If one started out in a high level math class like Geometry in 9th grade then they would take Algebra II in 10th, Trigonometry in 11th, then AP Calculus in 12th.
