Standard form is basically approximation. If the question says answer to one S.F, look at the number, draw a dotted line after the first number (must not be a zero) look at the second number and if it is more than 5 then add 1 to the first number. Ensure theat if the number is 5390 (to 1 S.F) that you do not answer: 5 but instead answer 5000. ( I used to make that mistake)
standard form
A number written in standard form as 9 is simply the digit 9 on its own, without any additional decimal places or exponents. In standard form, numbers are typically expressed as a single digit followed by any necessary decimal places or exponents. Therefore, the number 9 in standard form is just 9.
If you mean 3.57*10^6 then it is equivalent to 3,570,000
Unfortunately it is not possible to answer this question because there is no agreed definition of "standard form".
To solve equations in scientific notation, first ensure all terms are expressed in the same format. If necessary, convert numbers from standard form to scientific notation. Perform the arithmetic operations, maintaining the bases and adjusting the exponents according to the rules of exponents. Finally, convert the result back to standard form if needed.
standard form
13x13x13
You cannot do that.
you multiply for example 2to the 5th power =2x2x2x2x2Writing exponents in standard form is simple and easy to do. For every exponent you have to put a zero.
Numbers written without exponents are called Standard Form.
It means the number form of the exponent.
9.0 × 105
Powers of their exponents
