I do not know how to explain it but here is what i mean
3 times 9 = 27 = 9+9+9 OR 3+3+3+3+3+3+3+3+3
so Basically times is a quicker version of times but they are made to look shorted sometimes it can be handy when the question is like this
450+450+450=
If it is like this in a test add how many numbers (the 450s) then you can shorten it to make it like this
450 times 3 witch makes 1350
witch can save you time in a mental maths test
multiplying
I got chills and there multiplying
You have to line up the decimal when adding but not when multiplying. Example: This one is adding 23.56+89.45 23.56 89.45 This one is multiplying 23.54*4.506 23.54 4.506

They aren't. The rules are the same as those for adding/subtracting or multiplying integers. Just be careful of the decimal point's location.
They are different operations, giving different results. Example: 1+1=2, 1*1=1.

It's the difference between multiplication and division. Multiplying binomials is combining them. Factoring polynomials is breaking them apart.
a tint is adding white and a shade is adding black
Adding the logs of numbers is equivalent to multiplying the numbers. People think adding is easier than multiplying.
