Of course that will depend on what kiln you are using. This is a tested schedule used in Paragon kilns.

Casting 2" thick slab:

1) 50°/ hour to 1150° & hold for 45 minutes

2) 50°/ hour to 1200° & hold for 2 hours

3) 50°/ hour to 1250° & hold for 3 hours

4) 50°/ hour to 1350° & hold for 2 hours

5) 100°/ hour to 1450° & hold for 1 hour

6) 100°/ hour to 1550° & hold for 40 minutes

7) 9999 to 900° & hold for ten hours

8) 4°/ hour to 800° & hold for 2 minutes

9) 8°/ hour to 700° & hold for 2 minutes

10) 26°/ hour to 350° & hold for 2 minutes (in cold weather make it 200°)

Why glass slab does not produce dispersion?

Glass slabs do not produce dispersion because dispersion requires different materials with varying refractive indexes to separate light into its different spectral components. Glass slabs are made of the same material throughout and do not have the necessary variation in refractive index to cause dispersion.

Is incident ray parallel to the emergent ray through two glass slab of different refractive index?

No, the incident ray and emergent ray will not be parallel if the glass slabs have different refractive indices. This is because the light rays will experience refraction at each interface as they pass through the slabs due to the change in refractive index, causing the emergent ray to be offset from the incident ray.

What are non-suspended slabs?

How many 450mm x 450mm garden slabs do you need for garden area of 21ft x 19ft?

The answer will vary slightly depending on assumptions: will the slabs have a space between them, and will you be cutting the slabs to fill fractions. 21 feet is equal to 14.2 of the 450 mm slabs. 19 feet is equal to 12.9 of the slabs. To complete the rectangular area, 14.2 x 12.9 = 183 slabs.
