You could have a balljoint that is going bad or possibly a strut mount too.
do not remove strut bolts instead take lower balljoint loose ,take axle nut loose pulling spindle out as you push in on axle, then pry axle out of trans
Not every relation is a function. But every function is a relation. Function is just a part of relation.

what is the torque of an upper balljoint on a 2003 Mazda b2300.
replace it. cant be fixed.
I just replaced the left front balljoint on a 2000 echo. The balljoint had to be purchased attached to a frame assemble. Dealer part $300. Bargin Parts place $90.00 . Jack up the front of the car, support with jack stands, remove wheel . Remove two large bolts (one vertical, and one horizontal ) that hold the frame assemble to the frame. Remove small nut in the middle of the frame assemble that is attached the the stabilizer bar (or sway bar ). Remove the nut from the balljoint .Tap or pry the balljoint down out of the back of the brake assemble. With the balljoint now hanging down use a small pry bar to remove the entire frame assemble. When installing the new part finger tighten the VERTICAL Bolt first , then the HORIZONTAL Bolt then the stabilizer and last the Balljoint nut. Then go back and tighten everything up. DoNot forget the cotter pin in the Balljoint nut. Be careful not to bump the axle as it can fall out of the tranny, be careful not to damage the boots .
A balljoint is another name for a ball-and-socket joint - a joint within a skeleton in which one segment has a rounded end and the next segment has a bowl-shaped end, with the round-shaped end fitting into the bowl shape.
# Loosen the wheel lug nuts raise the car and support it securely and remove wheel # Detach the stabilizer bar link from the control arm # Loosen but dont remove the balljoint nut # Use a pickle fork tool to pop the balljoint stud from the steering knuckle.Separate the arm from the steering knuckle # Remove the front pivot bolt # Remove the rear bushing clamp bolts.Remove the control arm If the balljoint is in need of replacement take the control arm to an automotive machine shop to have the old one pressed out and the new one pressed in
loosen the axle nut with the tire on remove the center cap loosen it .. then jack up the car remove the tire use a 17mm to remove the lower balljoint it might need some bangin with a hammer unless u have a fork to hit in between the balljoint once the balljoint drops pull the rotor and assembly away and the cv joint should come out at times u need a screw driver to pry off the trans... be carefull not to damage thread on lower balljoint
You'll need a balljoint press . Seperate lower balljoint and bottom strut mounting bolt also the bolt holding it to the frame then press out old and press in new one
by separating the lower balljoint and sway bar on that side
have it done by a pro you could get hurt badly by the spring jumping out at you
i think you have to cut those out. i believe they are riveted in place from the factory.
I believe the lower balljoints can be changed , but the upper control arm assembly with the balljoint has to be changed
no the balljoint can be removed
