Each equation will have it's own input/ output table, where you put in a value for y and get a value for x or put in a value for k and get a value for y For example : y = -7 + 3x

Y | X

_|____

0 | 7/3.

1 | 8/3.

-7 | 0.

(unfortunatly the WikiAnswers cannot be formatted as I'd like but the above should be a table with Y valyues on the left and X values on the right)

Now do the same for the other equation: y = 5x - 13

Y | X

_|____

0 | 13/5.

1 | 12/5.

-13 | 0.
