All you need to do to find this is realize two things:

  1. The area of the square will be the exact square of the length of it's sides.
  2. The square has four sides of the same length, so it's perimeter will be four times the length of one of those sides.

The way to get the answer then is to take the square root of the area, and multiply it by four. We're told that the area is 25, so the area is 4 × √25, which equals 4 × 5, which equals 20.
