A 720 ml container holds a mixture of red, yellow, and white paint in a 5 : 3 : 12 ratio. How much more red paint than yellow is present in the mixture?
12 3/5 = x/20 5x = 3(20) 5x = 60 x = 12
5:2 = x:1212 x = 3030 pints
There are 5 parts red, 3 parts yellow and 12 parts white. Therefore there is a total of 20 parts. The total is 720ml, so each part is 720/20ml = 36ml. So there are 36*5ml of red (180ml) and 36*3ml of yellow (108ml). So there are 180-108 = 72ml more red than yellow.
T.T the 3 primary colours for light are: red, blue, green and the 3 primary colours for paint are red, blue, yellow
To get red paint, one can use blue and purple paint. One can use red and yellow to then make orange. Blue and yellow will make green paint. Red paint can also be purchased.
To tone down yellow paint, you can paint over it with a different color. You can also add white to the paint.
Yellow paint, because colors are not defined by their smell.
paint it yellow

You would get orange when you mix yellow and red together.
You can make brown paint with a bit of blue and lots of red and yellow. (the primary colours). To make brown with a tint of red, you just add more red depending on how red you want your brown. If that makes sense.
Add yellow :)

The mixing of red paint and yellow paint should yield orange so your pigments must be undergoing a chemical change (the molecule is breaking down and reforming)
