Best Answer

8x + 2y = 1

Rearrange in to straight line form 'y = mx + c'.

'm' is the slope/gradient of the line

'c' is the y intersept.

Hence

2y = -8x + 1

y = -4x + 1/2

So slope is '-4'. and y-intercept is '1/2'
