The line and the bar graph is used to describe a graph that compares two sets of data.
A graph is a representation of a thing/system, and can be used to test a hypothesis. For example, if you have a graph of a trend you can find the function of that trend. Then, you can plug in values the graph defines--say, at 2 the graph reaches 5--and if the function works, you know you have modeled the phenomenon correctly. This function testing can work to test a hypothesis, especially in finding trends.
the graph is called a line
A sine graph!
A cubic graph!
Why
The line and the bar graph is used to describe a graph that compares two sets of data.
The shaded area has no particular meaning.
A comparing graph is a graph that compares number to see if they similar or different.
In my opinion a point is just a point on a graph A line is two points or more points with a certain slope
a line graph
The graph of g(x) is the graph of f(x) shifted 6 units in the direction of positive x.
line graph
a bar graph is just a graph but a double bar graph compares 2 things!
A pie chart or graph presents data in this way.
A pie chart
A bar graph compares the height of the bar to the amount represented.
