The size of the stator should be expanded by using higher gage and more winding, the size of the rotor should also be expanded to bigger size. The most important is the speed of the water flow which will gear up the rotor faster.

Could variables other than x and y be used in a system of equations?

Yes

What does a straight line tells you on a line graph?

It tells you that the two variables in the graph change together at the same rate. There may or may not be a causal relationship between the tw variables: both could be related to a third variable which is not part of the graph.

Does a expression contain two variables?

It could

What kind of system has infinitely many solutions?

In order for a system to have infinitely many solutions, it must contain an equation that could be solved by any set of variables. In simple terms, a two-variable system can only be solved through two distinct equations; however, if one of these equations becomes meaningless, or could be solved by any set of variables, the other equation becomes meaningless as well because any value of y could match a given value of x. In terms of linear algebra, or any set or matrices meant to represent a system, infinitely many solutions occur due to an all 0 row. After the system is reduced to row echelon form, an all 0 row indicates that all coefficients in a given equation are equal to 0, so it does not matter what the variables are. This means that the number of equations no longer equals the number of variables and it becomes impossible to solve through cancellation and back-substitution.

Does the solution to a system of three equations in three variables is always one point?

No. There could be no solution - no values for x, y, and z so that the 3 equations are true.

What are things in an experiment that change or could be changed are called?

Variables.

Yes

What are differences between the system variables and the system parameters?

A parameter is a limit: could be a speed limit on the road. A variable is something that changes in the system: could be the actual speed of a car.

How do you figure out the variables in a science project?

The variable that you change is the independent variable(which you change). This could be the amount of light, fertilizer or salt that you give to a plant to observe how it affects its growth. What you measure is the dependent variable(the variables that change due to the change in independent variable) eg mass of the plant each day or week, number of leaves or height. All other variables are called the control variables(variables that are constant throughout the experiment). These make the experiment a "fair test". In the above experiment if you were to vary the amount of salt in the soil then each plant must be given the same amount of light, fertilizer, water etc.

One application that use microelectronics system?

A well known application of a microelectronic system is the AC to DC converter. If, for example, you wanted to take electricity from a wall outlet you could use 4 diodes a resistor and a capacitor of correct values to change it into a DC current.

How did the light bulb change science?

It made light so people could see and it was the start of electricity

Identify the variables that you need to control and the variable that you will change?

To conduct a controlled experiment, you need to control all variables except the one you are changing. The variable you change is called the independent variable, and the variable you measure in response is the dependent variable. Control variables are those that could potentially affect the outcome of the experiment but are kept constant to isolate the effect of the independent variable.

Why only four thermodynamic variable are defined?

The four defined thermodynamic variables (pressure, volume, temperature, and number of particles) are typically sufficient to fully describe the state of a system and predict its behavior. Any additional variables would be redundant or could be expressed in terms of the defined variables. These four variables form the foundation for understanding and applying the laws of thermodynamics.

When a question asks you to state the relationship between the variables what does that mean?

When a question asks you to state the relationship between variables, it is requesting you to describe how the variables are related to each other. This could include whether they have a positive or negative correlation, whether one variable causes a change in the other, or if there is no relationship between the variables.

When an equation has two variables there is a number of values that the two variables could have?

If an equation has two variables, we'll call them (x,y), the variables can be any value as long as both sides of the equation have the same result. If the equation was x = y, then the variables could be (1,1), (2,2), (3,3),etc...
