"in" means "not", "finity" means "finish". So infinity means endless. eternity (outside time) is a special case of infinity.
Less or more
Exactly what words you may wish to use in combination with the word infinity, will depend upon what you are trying to say. It would be grammatically acceptable to say something such as "I believe in infinity" although the meaning would be somewhat ambiguous. In most contexts, you would be more likely to use the word to, rather than in. For example, this series of numbers adds up to infinity.

Infinity + 1 = infinity!!!!! The word 'infinite' means ' never finishing# never ending'.
Infinity is not an abbreviation. It is a word that means something without end.
No googolplex is a number however infinity is not it is a word or a symbol
Infinity is not a number in the ordinary sense of the word. It is neither odd nor even. Here is an interesting paradox about the parity of infinity: If you multiply all integers together you get infinity. So 2 is a factor of infinity and so infinity must be even. But then one more than this number is also infinity and this new infinity must, therefore, be odd!
A word that means no beginning and no end is infinite or infinity.
(0, infinity) Note that you should use the infinity sign instead of the word (the sideways 8).
Majority means greater than half. Greater means more than.
