This is a ratios question. 6:8 is equivalent to 24:???, find the unknown. I always prefer to think of a ratio as a fraction. The above question is just the same as asking 6/8 = 24/???, find ???. More mathematically, 6/8=24/x, find x we just need to do a bit of algebra to find that x = 24*8/6 = 32 Too easy.
