They can, but they are called imaginary numbers. This is because a "square" of something is the number that, when multiplied by itself, will equal the first number. A negative multiplied by a negative equals a positive, and positives can't turn into negatives on their own, so there are no square roots of negative numbers.
um blah blah dont forget the integer keep trying
we dont know yet.....
Whole numbers are 0 , 1 , 2 , 3 etc.. (dont contain negative) Integers are -2 , -1 , 0 , 1 , 2 , 3, ie they CONTAIN whole numbers
18The two negatives will cancel out when multiplying, so the result will be a Positive number. So, just pretend the signs dont exist...2 x 9 = 18NOTE... When you multiply a bunch of numbers, look at how many of these numbers are negative. If the answer to that question is an Even number, then the product will be Positive. If the answer to that question is an Odd number, then the product will be Negative.Example: -3 x 4 x 6 x -5 x -7 x 3 = ....Since three of those numbers are negative (and THREE is odd), then the product will be Negative.
root word is ratio, real number, can be negative/positive, is integer, whole number, and decimal that terminates or repeats ...... hope that could help i dont know anymore
i dont no
roots don't dance, roots dont cry roots dont talk so dont even try roots dont laugh, roots dont tell roots dont care even if you fell roots dont complain or talk in your ear but roots will run if you yell ROOR BEER!
we dont know yet.....

Negative numbers can be whole but not all are. -3.1 is not a whole number but -3 is. Generally it's a whole number if it does not have a decimal and is not a fraction.a ya u a sayIMPROVEMENT:Negative numbers cannot be whole numbers , not at al .Whole numbers are those numbers that stasrt from 0(zero) and go upto infinity. They include all the positive numbers and not negative numbers. And yes they dont contain any decimal or fraction.
Whole numbers are 0 , 1 , 2 , 3 etc.. (dont contain negative) Integers are -2 , -1 , 0 , 1 , 2 , 3, ie they CONTAIN whole numbers
No, algae do not have roots, stems, or leaves. They are simple, plant-like organisms that lack the complex structures typically found in higher plants. Instead, algae have structures like holdfasts for attachment and blades for photosynthesis.
Sweet potatoes, yams, and dahlias are examples of tuberous roots. These plants produce storage roots that are swollen and fleshy for storing nutrients and water. They are commonly used for both culinary and ornamental purposes.
