In my honest opinion, I think math is way more important than literature. In literature, think about what you learn. You learn about fictional, wordy, stories. All you basically learn is how to write, read, learn vocabs ect. On the other hand, math is what creates the world. Math influences sciences and technologies, so without math, we don't have everyday essentials such as TVs, pipe systems, and more. Without math, we do not know how to measure a slope for stairs, so stairs would be uneven. We cannot learn about electrical systems and how circuits calculate and all that stuff without math. In conclusion, I find math more of a modern direction rather than literature, a more middle-aged direction.
