In my honest opinion, I think math is way more important than literature. In literature, think about what you learn. You learn about fictional, wordy, stories. All you basically learn is how to write, read, learn vocabs ect.
On the other hand, math is what creates the world. Math influences sciences and technologies, so without math, we don't have everyday essentials such as TVs, pipe systems, and more. Without math, we do not know how to measure a slope for stairs, so stairs would be uneven. We cannot learn about electrical systems and how circuits calculate and all that stuff without math.
In conclusion, I find math more of a modern direction rather than literature, a more middle-aged direction.
It is hugely important to every one.
Both are important. But depending on your future career goals, one or the other may be more important. For example, if you want to take up a career in engineering (basically this is "applied science"), you will need a lot of math. Otherwise, for other careers, you won't need much advanced math, and English may be more important.

One way to remember math easier is by practicing. The more you do something the more inclined you will learn it and it will be easier in the future.
yes Both are essential to society, It's rather like what is more important, food or shelter? Literacy is like the food-- get it first. You may be able to survive for a little while with inadequate shelter. In fact, if you are truly literate, you can read math and science books as you need them. Math is more important than science for most people. You need to know scientific facts, but do not have to re-discover them for yourself. However, you are likely to need math to solve the particular problems that you face everyday and can not look up. Often the role of science is to provide the laws that let one apply mathematics.
Math certainly is very important, as almost every career requires a basic understanding of mathematical processes. However, the importance of math varies on how much it is needed in one's career. For an accountant, it probably can be assumed that math would be the most important subject for him/her. However, for an author or an illustrator, literature and art are probably much more important than math. It all comes down to the career and how often you use math. The importance of math is unique to everybody. ---- To some people it is. Others might say you can't talk about math without language skills. Different things are important for different purposes. You can't launch rockets with poetry or address a nation with a test tube.
Yes, it can. Literature is one of the major factors of your grade in English. And the two most important classes are English and Math. For me, English takes up two entire periods, while the rest only fill up one.
Math and writing are almost as equally important. If you go to a job, such as construction working, math will be very important. If you were to be some kind of speaker or author, writing will be important. Math may be used more than writing, but they are about equal. If you are asking which one is better, though, it would be your opinion.
well, math is important in many ways! when you go to a store, you need to know math. that is one example. there are many other ways which math is important. it is important all over the world. math is part of life!

math
Literature is important because we use it in everyday life. People who like to write and speak must know literature. Literature is more then just reading. It has to do with vocabulary and spelling and being aware of one's words. Literature helps us to view things openly. A literate student's mind should be like a feather on air which gains freedom in its flow

The grocery store is one of the best examples where math is real.
No, but it is one of the most important things in ECONOMY
