Well in geometric terms you would usually call it math of shapes, I am not so sure anybody really knows why geometry is called what it is called so...
But I think it just basically means the Geometric size and study of 3D and 2D shapes!
Two dimensional geometry is called "plane geometry" meaning that it occurs on a single surface or plane. The objects used in plane geometry are called plane figures.
That's called "solid geometry".
They are called axioms, not surprisingly!
It is called topology
A polyhedron.
euclidean
euclidean
a five sided shape in geometry is called a pentagon
Half a circle is called a "semicircle" in geometry.
Two dimensional geometry is called "plane geometry" meaning that it occurs on a single surface or plane. The objects used in plane geometry are called plane figures.
Euclid, a Greek mathematician, is known as the Father of Geometry. In his mathematics book Elements, he introduced what came to be known as Euclidean geometry.
It is called an angle!
That's called "solid geometry".

They are called axioms, not surprisingly!
It is called topology
They are called Geometers.
